Paypal and Payoneer no longer work in my country, so I can't get money from Ko-fi, Gumroad, Buymeacoffe and ComicAd (the ad banners here).
The only tip jar I have left is Boosty. It accepts Paypal, all cards, any currency, then it converts it into rubles and sends to me. Boosty works the same way as Patreon + accepts one-time donations like Ko-fi and allows selling ebooks.

When you grow up in a society where everyone is at least a couple of centuries older than you, you won't be treated as an adult at 18. At 30 as well. Maybe once you're a 100...

Nolan's mother died during the tsunami (there's a story "Tsunami kid" on my Patreon, if you want some details), when he was three, but he still has some memories of her. And I bet he regrets being mean to her that last day and refusing her offer.

Comments:

It's kind of impressive that he still remembers that.

Why? I thought most people have at least a handful of early memories.

That's true, I guess. I suppose I'm more impressed that he knew how old he was. I have no clue how old I was in my earliest memories, and at this point, they're so far off it feels more like a memory of a memory.

At some point, kids become really proud of their age. I remember being proud of being 2 :D I kept running around the house and telling everyone that I was a big girl. Little Nolan probably remembered his age the same way. Or maybe he just knew how old he was right before the tsunami that had ended his happy life and killed his mother.

That's a fair point. Maybe my memory is just particularly garbage.
