Paypal and Payoneer no longer work in my country, so I can't get money from Ko-fi, Gumroad, Buymeacoffe and ComicAd (the ad banners here).
The only tip jar I have left is Boosty. It accepts Paypal, all cards, any currency, then it converts it into rubles and sends to me. Boosty works the same way as Patreon + accepts one-time donations like Ko-fi and allows selling ebooks.

A glimpse of what the real purpose of Ash's mission is. And an example of how he usually opens doors. In fact, in all the postapocalyptic world there is no such thing as a closed door for this man.

If you read the bonus story on Patreon, you already know who Lord Aaron is, why his access codes rank so high, and why Ash has them too. If not, you may have guessed anyway.

The tiny dot on Ash's left hand is a recent injection mark.

Comments:

Look pal, everything ends eventually and sometimes the best option is to gracefully accept it. (Things that the Atlanteans evidently don’t believe ever.)

Few people are capable of gracefully accepting death. I suppose it's even harder when immortality is an option.

True, I was thinking of Lord Aaron trying to preserve a whole civilization with one person. But maybe the option of immortality (sorta) makes it harder to accept the end of anything at all.

A civilation that can only exist at the cost of another civilization that would otherwise thrive should prioritize finding some other way to live on. But human history does not tend to reflect that mindset...

Biology doesn't reflect that either. Once a species has evolved to live as a parasite, there is no way back. Same goes for civilizations, I guess.
